PRIVACY AT HUMAN CURRENT

YOUR INFORMATION.
HANDLED WITH PURPOSE.

This notice explains how Human Current handles personal information shared through the website, by email and, where relevant, during a client engagement. Engagement specific privacy or data processing terms may apply where more detailed information is involved.

01

WHO IS RESPONSIBLE?

Human Current is responsible for personal information where it decides how and why that information is processed.

In some client engagements, Human Current may process information on behalf of another organisation. The responsibilities that apply will be agreed before that work begins.

Privacy requests can be sent to info@humancurrent.nl.

02

WEBSITE ENQUIRIES & NEWSLETTER

When you contact Human Current through the website, we may receive your name, email address, organisation and the information you include in your message.

When you submit a newsletter subscription request, we receive the email address you provide.

Website form submissions are sent through Web3Forms so the information can be delivered to Human Current.

Please do not include medical records or other sensitive personal information in a first website enquiry.

03

CLIENT ENGAGEMENT DATA

If work begins, Human Current may process information needed to deliver the agreed service and communicate with the people involved.

Information may also be used to document relevant actions or review progress where this forms part of the agreed work.

The information used depends on the engagement and should be limited to what is relevant for the defined purpose.

04

TESTING & PERFORMANCE DATA

Where an engagement uses assessments, testing results, surveys, performance information or data supplied from another system, the purpose and access arrangements will be established before use.

Retention and sharing arrangements should also reflect the purpose for which the information is being used.

Health data, biometric data used for identification and other special category data are only processed where an appropriate legal basis and the additional conditions required by data protection law apply.

05

YOUNG PEOPLE

Where services involve a minor, privacy, consent, access and communication arrangements are agreed with the client organisation and a parent or guardian where required.

The young person's rights, welfare and safeguarding requirements remain part of the engagement.

06

WHY IS INFORMATION USED?

Personal information may be used to respond to an enquiry or take steps towards an engagement.

It may also be used to deliver agreed services, maintain appropriate records or meet legal obligations.

An email address submitted for Human Current Insights is used in connection with the newsletter subscription you request.

Depending on the situation, processing may rely on steps taken at your request, performance of a contract, legitimate interests, consent or a legal obligation.

Personal information is not sold or used for unrelated advertising.

07

SHARING & SERVICE PROVIDERS

Human Current may use service providers for functions such as website hosting, form delivery, email and storage.

The website currently uses Web3Forms to deliver contact and newsletter form submissions.

Information may also be shared with relevant specialists where collaboration forms part of an agreed engagement.

Only information needed for the defined purpose should be shared.

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, appropriate safeguards will be used where required by applicable data protection law.

08

RETENTION & SECURITY

Information is kept only for as long as it is needed for the relevant purpose, an ongoing working relationship or an applicable legal obligation.

Human Current uses organisational and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information being processed.

Access and retention arrangements are reviewed as services and data practices develop.

09

YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask for access to your personal information or for inaccurate information to be corrected.

Other rights may include deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing or data portability.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent.

You may also raise a concern with the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
